Shall we go look in this morning's newspapers and see how many were used in crimes? How many were involved in accidents? |

How many violent crimes were prevented because a potential criminal is deterred by the prospect of armed citizens? |

As much as anything I'm curious to see how much, if any, national attention this gets. To say there's an inverse relationship in national media with coverage regarding "good" usage and "bad" usage of firearms is an understatement of immense proportions. |

By definition, unknowable.
Crimes of passion and accidental shootings, or intentional murders, we know are excluded from that.
Might some robbers not do it for fear of guns on possible victims? I suppose that occurs. |

If I were to go on a killing spree here in Utah, first thing on my mind is not the police. It's that Jimbo guy with the gun on his hip buying potato chips. |
