The last 12ish years have not been kind to the debt.

Little staggering when you look at the numbers. He is pretty much doing exactly the opposite of what he based his campaign on.

Yup, you pretty much nailed it. Anyone watch the opening segment of O'Reilly last night. His talking point was how spending is out of control and the Dem's just want to raise taxes; not to pay down the debt, but to spend more. He had 2 Democratic strategists on for rebuttal….i was yelling at my TV i was so pissed off.

I haven't watched him in about 4 years, but did he say anything about Bush spending like a drunken sailor also?

He referenced that Bush spent more that he should. Of course the Democratic strategist blamed Bush from the very beginning of the segment. But 5 trillion in 3 years is inexcusable, unjustifiable, and unsustainable.
