| | doo doo doo | I find this highly objectionable - it's used car salesman promotional tactics. Way to class up the office of the President.

I also like the income estimate scenarios they picked.
What a f'ing joke. |

| I'm ok with applying your taxes to percent of expenditures. But the bottom is pretty low. Especially when it can be turned the other way around on 51% of the population who pay nothing. |

I have no problem with a tool from the government showing how your tax dollars are allocated on average. Turning it into the equivalent of a Shamwow commercial to promote a political gimmick is classless and beneath the office.

| The fact that there is no one in the administration who feels even a semblance of shame over this is beyond pathetic. |

| Approximately 49% of people in United States pay no income tax. Many of them receive free money when filing tax returns due to the bogus earned income tax credit and other scams built into the tax code which turn it into welfare for the bottom half of earners. Coincidentally, the bottom half of earners tend to vote Democrat more often than not.
Instead of divisive meaningless buffett rule proposals from Obama, which are clearly meant to do nothing more than divide people, how about a buffet proposal? Buffet as in people who've lineup to eat as much as they possibly can without concern of the consequences. Since the bottom 49% treat the United States treasury like and all you can steal buffet anyways, why not a proposal to stop the madness? For example, why not a minimum income tax? Why not a guarantee that you pay a certain minimum, and receive nothing unless you pay that minimum. |

I mean, people shouldn't be able to get a tax refund without paying anything into the system. Some of this stuff is just so azzhole backwards you wonder what the f--?!?! they were thinking when they wrote this stuff in. Loopholes to legally steal money, what a wonderful thing |

| My average employ makes roughly 20k per year(not due to pay but due to not wanting to work hard or more than 30 hours per week) and the average tax refund was a little over 7,000. I know this because I was curious and began asking around. That means in my office roughly 700,000 in refunds were paid out.
How can we ever get this country on the right track when we lose 7,000 dollars per head on some many millions of people?

| | doo doo doo | regardless of financial need, no one should get a refund of more than they paid in. No one should have negative income tax liability. If we want to give money to such people via various programs then they should be enrolled in those programs and receive the benefits but it should not be in the form of income tax refunds beyond the level of tax withheld.
