| Oh, and if you want to check the link, it's an SEC document submitted by Lockheed. Click "table of contents" and then "summary compensation table" |

| I don't really have a dog in this fight either way, but two points... - As a tax payer, I don't recall sending any money to Mr. Stevens.
- Lockheed Martin stock has increased roughly 40% over the last year. His pay may have something to do with company performance.

| I am failing to see what is wrong. He wasn't part of a bailout.
If you want to be anti-war, that is one thing. I don't see why you have to hate on a company which out-competes other companies for government contracts. |

His company is actuall creating and building things, not conceptual paper wealth. |

| So, say the bailout to Goldman Sachs was $13B, and our contract with Lockheed Martin results in $50B in waste, you still wouldn't have a problem with it? |

| I'm assuming the OP was going after government spending not private CEO salary. I know it's for defense purposes but a company receiving 83% of it's revenue from government and paying that salary is still surprising. What's more federal spending, an industry that gets 83% from government or a regulatory agency that gets 90% in fees from industries and 10% from tax payers? |
