And so it begins...

.... the left has a well established pattern of attempting the personal destruction of anyone who seems ready to take up the Reagan mantle with conservatives. Of course they also have a long established pattern of character assassination against women and blacks who dare step off the left's political plantation.

Double whammy for Cain. He's black and supported by conservatives... he has shown that "teflon" attribute of Reagan when it comes to ideas and policies... so now the politics of personal destruction begin.

Hey LG... its because he's black, right? This is absolute proof that the left is institutionally racist, right?

So, the left had something to do with paying these two women a massive dose of hush money back in the day?

Paying them to settle is not proof of anything.

This is true; however, it is not the left who has conjured up some potential indiscretion/skeleton in Cain's closet.

Let's be honest, if these facts were brought up about BHO or any other Dim candidate, the right would be ALL OVER IT. This is an irrefutable fact.

Respectfully, please don't let your politics get in the way of reality. It's an obstacle that he'll have to overcome.

Also, since SJT is blaming the left for this mud-slinging, it was The Politico that broke this story (not exactly a left-wing publication).

I am sure that the CEO of Politico thinks the same thing, even though he was with Reagan for twenty years...

Maybe the individual journalist is leftist and his previous columns in the National Review were just aberrations...

We can certainly make a decent argument that the established press wasn't all that interested in vetting Obama, but this is the kind of thing that usually comes up once you enter the political arena. It is just the way it is for both political parties.

If Cain ever held the belief that this would not surface in a Presidential Campaign, then he has severely limited foresight and poor judgment. Those are not characteristics I want in the POTUS.

If he wasn't ready for this he is not ready to be POTUS. I agree.
