That's more direct and real than "I Shot the Sheriff" or "Cocaine Blues" or "Delia".

In the end, it's not a big deal (1 on a scale of 1 to 10) but I think the timing is bad when today the WH honored cops killed in the line of duty and yesterday they honored a guy who sang about two convicted cop killers being unjustly treated.

Thank you.

We agree on that. I do see his expressions as different than Cash's though FWIW.

Maybe you should show me where I said or even implied Common's lyrics do anything before you try to reuse my own words in a smartass fashion.

I suppose I can go with that, it would mainly just cause certain sheepish people who wouldn't understand a social message through rap... i.e. the typical Hannity listener (and he was going after the Bush metaphor).

Speaking of which, just wanted to follow up with this little tidbit of Hannity in peak dipchit form for anybody who wants a good laugh:

YouTube - Ted Nugent insulting Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton

Hannity's not hard to destroy... In fact, most political radio talkshow hosts are clowns and other sideshow acts. Nothing but hollow talking points and feigned outrage to draw ratings.
