I like this part...* HR 2749 would give FDA the power to order a quarantine of a geographic area, including "prohibiting or restricting the movement of food or of any vehicle being used or that has been used to transport or hold such food within the geographic area." [This - "that has been used to transport or hold such food" - would mean all cars that have ever brought groceries home so this means ALL TRANSPORTATION can be shut down under this. This is using food as a cover for martial law.] Under this provision, farmers markets and local food sources could be shut down, even if they are not the source of the contamination. The agency can halt all movement of all food in a geographic area. [This is also a means of total control over the population under the cover of food, and at any time.]

those parts were inserted by a website called the axis of logic and used to scare.

and if the Repubs are so freedom-loving then it won't make it to the Pres anyway

and how is this new anyway? The article is from Saturday, Aug 1, 2009 and the bill was passed in the house on July 30, 2009

i know that, but you can't deny that more power is given to the fed in the guise of safety.

the repubs shouldn't allow this to pass, but i'm sure it will. so you libs should be pretty excited about it.

and what party do you think I'm a member of? You don't seem to have a clue

and again, why the fear-mongering thread on a bill from over a year ago? What's the relevance?

it really don't matter, if your a lib, you're a lib.

I'm not fearmongering. is that the only name you guys libs can accuse people of? when you guys are confronted with the truth?

just answer the question. What is the importance today of a bill that has been dormant for over a year (or did you even notice the date)?

and disagreeing with you doesn't make me a lib. If anything it lets me know I'm on the right track
