I'm a little surprised the Eagles would trade him within the division.

Philly got the 'Skins 2nd rounder this year and a conditional 3rd or 4th next year depending on McNabb's play. I wasn't shocked he was traded but I am shocked he was traded to a division rival for so cheap...

Watch that come to bite them HARD this season. It's an obvious storyline.

Reid is either nuts or crazy.

I'm okay with trading him but in the division?

Thanks Lurie for running this franchise in the ground. Will go down as one of the worst trades in NFL history. As an Eagles fan, I am sick to my stomach about him being traded in the first place. Much less to the skins and for a 2nd and 3rd round pick, absolutely stupid.

It's truly absurd, the more I think about it. How could it possibly NOT work out poorly for the Eagles?

This is not the first time Eagles ownership has made dumb arse trades or let players go, see Reggie White, Ricky Watters, and Dawk. Maybe Lurie forgot how crap this team was before McNabb got here.

That's the last place I expected him to go.

I'm pretty stunned at this too... Especially with this years draft class, that's practically giving him away.

The Redksins and Eagles exchanged QB's years ago -advantage Redskins! However, this is not the case this time. McNabb still has at least two more good years. However, the current Redskins starter is done. He hasn't showed the Redskins very much. I don't know why the Redskins even drafted him-he's a bust. If a QB, WR, running back hasn't produced within 3 years, he's gone! Jason Campbell may not even be around in 4 more years. But, I've renently heard there are teams interested in him-Bills, Raiders, Jaguars and an unknown team.

McNabb hasn't been impressive the last few seasons and is injury prone. His age doesn't help. I don't see him lasting longer than a season, maybe two if he's lucky. They have Vick and can probably grab a decent QB in the 2nd round if needed.

So the Redskins needed a new QB ASAP, and got one. How is this not advantage Redskins?

Everyone is ignoring Kolb.

At this point he's the starter.

Lol at Kevin Kolb ever being anything in the NFL.

I'm almost going to be rooting for the Redskins in that division this year.
