I know I dogged Claiborne earlier, but IMO that was the best move of the draft for NFC teams. Carr, and now Claiborne. Dallas just completely changed their defensive identity. I didn't realize Claiborne was getting graded as the best cover corner since Deion.

Defensive back was the biggest weakness last year. Jerry went and got the #1 FA corner and the #1 rookie corner.

The first round was pretty good. All the other picks are developmental guys that we'll probably never see start a game.

Which is why we suck. I think one of our big problems is that we rely too heavily on free agency to fill needs instead of doing that in the draft.

Yeah, I know it's hard to predict what these guys are going to do. But we always guys from no where. The 2 picks today remind me of victor butler and Ansah owusu.

Eh. Thought there were better receivers, at least physically, on the board.

Like the TE they picked in the 6th. 7th was a ILB from Montana. Ran a 4.97 at the combine. Glad we didn't address any needs at OL. Kinda sick of taking 3-4 lbs/dline every draft.

Percy Harvin wants out of Minnesota. Anybody think Dallas makes a run for him? Austin and Bryant are continually injured and Dallas lost Robinson. I would like the move, but I'm not sure if Dallas has the money to throw around.

Would you give up Dez Bryant to get him? That was the conversation on one of the local sports talk shows this morning.

I wouldn't want Dallas to trade away Bryant. I really like him as a WR when healthy. Pretty good PR too.

Of course Harvin is electric in the return game too, but I don't think I would take that trade.

Only if something like draft picks is included with harvin. At absolute best it would be a lateral move, but as a wr I like Bryant better.

60 more days! I think they will be better this season, but they have one of the toughest schedules. Might be going to a game in jerryworld this year!
