Last season when Brady went down I expected the Pats to suck. They played well without him. Should have gone to the playoffs. That proved to me that Brady was not the superhero I thought he was. |
I totally agree, everyone always said, "anybody can put up those numbers with those players." Edgerrin James, Dominic Rhodes, Brandon Stokely, Marcus Pollard, Ken Dilger, and Jerome Pathon all had their best years with the Colts. They got big money, and went elsewhere and didn't have the same success.
Tom Brady's team goes 11-5 without him, with a QB who hadn't started since HS. That same QB is now 0-5 with another team.
This is why I take Peyton Manning over Tom Brady.
Side note, Peyton Manning has never thrown a pick in the 2-minute drill with a chance to win or tie. Tom Brady has done it 3 times (twice in the playoffs). I find it funny that one is considered a choker and the other clutch.
