I was there last month. It doesn't look like any stadium that you've ever seen.

. . . and take some time to walk around downtown Indianapolis. It's a neat city and you'll be glad you walked over to the War Memorial. It's about 10-15 minutes from the stadium.

I also dig Indy. However, everything about the rest of the state is garbage the second you step foot outside the city limits. That's kind of a bummer.

Go drop by St. Elmo Steakhouse for dinner. You won't be disappointed.

i was there for basketball last winterand the place inside is as amazing as it looks from the outside. as a kid i always thought the RCA Dome was huge, but after seeing them side by side, it has NOTHING on Lucas Oil Field.

and anybody who says the rest of the state is garbage clearly has never been to Bloomington in fall and spring.

My sister and her husband are going to the Pats/Colts game this year. I'm sure they will have a good time.

I went to the RCA dome once. It was a great trip and I love Indy.

Visiting Lucas Oil Stadium is definitely on my to do list.

It reminds me of a big steakhouse for some reason ... still not quite sure why

Last trip to a Colts game was 2004 in the RCA Dome. Peyton broke Marino's TD record in a OT win against the Chargers. Can't wait to catch a game in Lucas Oil.

Have fun!

That game was my first trip to a Colts game. It was the day after Christmas. Great game.

Indeed. The best football game I've ever seen live.

This is excellent advice. The shrimp cocktail appetizer will bring you to tears . . . literally.

My sister is a Purdue grad, other sister lives outside Indy and Aunt is an IU grad still living near Bloomington. Been to every corner of IN multiple times. That state outside of Indianapolis utterly bores me.

I was in Indy in late August. Lucas Oil is enormous, and yes it dwarfs the RCA Dome. Downtown Indy is also pretty cool and I echo the sentiments about the rest of Indiana. Downtown Indy is great, after that....ehh....
