I stand corrected. Well, he had a year that year deserving of an MVP anyway. He was a true superman and one in a million. I feel blessed that I was able to see him play so many times. No one who knows him has ever had a bad thing to say about him and he went out of his way to help people. Even when he was in Baltimore he would come down and play in the Jeff Fisher celebrity charity softball game and he would always get the loudest applause. Nashville loved you, Steve and we will never forget.

I agree. If not for Rich Gannon's huge year in Oakland, he probably would've walked away with his first MVP that season.

I have a McNair probowl jersey from his MVP year. I'll treasure it always.

Sad, sad, sad. Have watched him since his senior year in college. Definitely a sad day

I met him one night after a Nashville Kats football game (I interned with them) and a girl I was working with knew him. He was the nicest professional athlete I've ever met. RIP Steve!
