Kazemi was recently charged with a DUI on Thursday night driving on Broadway in downtown Nashville, driving the black Escalade with McNair as the passenger. McNair was able to leave the scene. | IMO, this can easily be a murder-suicide. Can be wrong, but it fits, right?

It sounds like it could be what I first heard that he was killed by the woman who then took her own life..

| WATE here in Knoxville reporting this(The TV station here is also doing a retrospective, interviewing Al Del Greco) -
- McNair shot multiple times, including once in the head.
- Woman was found on the floor, with one gunshot wound, and gun near her on the ground.
- McNair was found on the couch. This will most likely be relevant later on in the case. |

| Sounds to me like she broke in and ambushed him, then killed herself. |

| One of my all time fave sports heroes. This is a very sad day for me. He was an great player and man. It is just so terrible when guys who seem invincible have this happen.
I lost another Hero of mine in '01, Dale Earnhardt. That was a bad day and this one is just as bad. RIP Steve.....Titans fans will miss you big guy.

Maybe she came in friendly, and then ambushed him? |

| In any case, this might be the 2nd time I've ever actually been saddened by an athlete's death. Don't get me wrong, all athlete's deaths are sad, but this one hits me hard.
The only other time I felt like this is when Johnny Unitas died back on my b-day in 2002. |

The Titans have always been my team since they have made the move here to Nashville, and having McNair as our QB for that long, breaking franchise records, co-MVP award, Super Bowl appearence. He gave us his all, on and off the field. Very tragic day in the world of sports.

Maybe she came in friendly, and then ambushed him? | No telling what happened behind closed doors. Arguments, jealously, etc. They also said on the news that Steve and Michele have not seen or heard from one another in 2-3 days. So maybe they were having problems, separating, or just a nonjudgmental affair.

I know I grew up watching McNair and the Titans/Oilers. As I said on my blog earlier, he's one of the reasons I love football. He was also a rare breed in today's sports culture, a respectful athlete both on and off the field, and played with a toughness that only the most legendary and toughest could play through.
RIP Steve, you will be missed by all. From Memphis to Mountain City, you will be missed. |
