| 2009 Titans Sorry if i'm making this a little early but I'm missing some Titan football...
Transactions so far this season,
3/2 Jovan Haye (DT) signed/unrestricted free agent (four-year contract).
3/2 Nate Washington (WR) signed/unrestricted free agent.
2/27 Craig Hentrich (P) Signed
2/27 Kerry Collins (QB) Signed a 2 year deal
So far we lost Brandon Jones, Big Al, and some others but nothing that big.
I hope we draft D.J Moore or Nicks

| Big Al will be missed but he wasn't worth what the Redskins are paying him, granted he will never see 100 million dollars.
I wished they would have re-signed Eric King but he probably has a better chance of playing in Detroit.
If Denver doesn't think a lot of Jay Cutler than I would love to have him in Tennessee but that will not happen after signing Collins. He certainly has done a lot more than Leinart and Young from that draft although I wanted Young at the time.
I don't expect Tennessee to draft a receiver in the first round, they never do, so I would like a corner like DJ Moore with that pick or the Davis kid from Illinois.
I hope the Titans pick up another receiver before the season other than just drafting one. If it's not Tory Holt than maybe someone like Lance Moore in New Orleans would be a nice addition. |

| I'd like to see this Tory Holt thing happen for the Tits. He's an old receiver with past success. Sounds about right for Tennessee. |

Sounds about right for Tennessee. | He had one of the worst QBs in the league throwing to him behind an offensive line that couldn't protect said QB. I won't say that he is the same wide receiver he was in the prime of his career but he has a lot left in the tank and would be a huge pick up for four to five seasons. Now if he does come to Nashville he'll have a veteran QB throwing to him, the best offensive line in the league protecting said QB, and a awesome running game allowing the WR core to get behind the defense; if he comes to Nashville I think he'll shine and be a huge contributor this this offensive.
Now I will agree you that TO is an old receiver past his prime though. |

Now I will agree you that TO is an old receiver past his prime though. | TO has vastly outperformed Torry Holt...is that a joke...TO is just a locker room cancer, but there's no question that he's a great player. |

| I'm thinking Burhead meant to type TH. He said he agreed with me, but I didn't say anything about TO. |

TO is a great threat, not really a great player. Great players make the offense and the players around them better. Because TO is a cancer he tends to drag teams down, it never fails, he has a great year and by season #2 with any given team trouble follows. He has all the tools a great player would need, except the chemistry needed to make those around you better. |

| No I was talking about Torry Holt being a great player, the TO comment stands by himself.
I don't care if you put up all star stats if you bring trouble into a locker room I'll still take the less the average team first mentality player over the all start any day. |

Are you sure...TO has had double-digit TDs in three straight seasons and seven of the last nine... |

| Holt would upgrade the Titans WR corps. Anyone expecting 1,200 yards from him is...stoned. But, to expect 800 yards with a few big games would be appropriate.
Besides, when you go from one of the worst teams in the league to one of the best, positive things can happen for that player.
