However, I don't think lack of effort causes the Colts' struggles against 3-4 defenses.
I agree with you that 3-4 defenses give us a lot of trouble, but what gives us more trouble is when Peyton looses his patience and refuses to check the ball down and thinks he has to throw bombs down field all game.

And Peyton seems to do this every time the Colts play against a 3-4. With 4 LBs roaming from sideline to sideline, the short stuff doesn't always appear to be open. That's why Peyton throws deep some much against this defensive scheme.

The Colts just need to go back to the drawing board when it comes to attacking a 3-4 defense.

Agreed, also we need to run the freaking ball. Our O-line is terrible at run blocking and Addai dances too much going east and west instead of hitting the hole.

It's a shame Donald Brown got injured... he was just about to jump Addai for the No. 1 tailback position. I still think that will happen soon...

He does look like he could be a really good player.

On another note, Hagler is out for the rest of the season.

The hits keep coming for the defense. Marlin's career is going just about as well as the career of Mike Doss. Ultra-talented... but can't stay healthy.

This is getting ridiculous, we just can't stay healthy. We really need him, he is a heck of a nickel cornerback

Bob Sanders probably has every doctor is the country on speed dial. He is the most fragile player ever to play football.

I think it has more to do with the way he plays.

Agreed.

However, an extra glass of milk a day couldn't hurt Bob at this point.
