No I can't stand Michael Vick. I knew everyone would think that since I'm a fan of Young I must be a fan of Vick. I normally don't like scrambling quarterbacks, but ever since watching Vince Young in his sophmore season in the Rose Bowl against Michigan I've recognized his talent.

I really haven't saw much of Cutler and Leinart, but I'm just going by who had the better year last year and that has to be young. Cutler and Leinart were both on more talented teams than Young last year, but Vince did the best with what he had while Leinart was just average and Cutler didn't really have a chance to show what he had.

Hell, if lighting up Michigan in a bowl game during the sophomore season of a college career is an indication of future greatness in the NFL (top 3 status), then Casey Clausen should be cracking the top 3 anytime now.

Even if you are disagreeing with me that's funny.

Actually, Leinart showed more promise as a passer than Young, but the press gave Young all of the credit for every Titans victory despite the fact that the majority of the load was actually shouldered by Travis Henry.

Henry was great and a huge part of the Titans last season, but in the 4th quarter and when a play needed to be made Vince was always successful.

I'm beginning to think you're Merrill Hodge.

Most would disagree with you. Only time will tell, but we picked up some good players. Have faith in our FO, lets see how the season plays out.

No. Let me be the first one to break this to you. Most people DO agree with me.

ESPN.com: SPORTSNATION - Grades: NFL Draft

Note that the consensus 2007 Draft Grade for the Titans was the 3rd lowest in the entire NFL. This is exactly what I was talking about when I was saying earlier that Titans fans seem to have blinders on when it comes to their team.

You've dodged this question before, and I understand why, but I'll ask again. Why didn't Travis Henry shoulder any of the load in 2005 as the Titans won only 4 games?

I think the broken leg he suffered in 2004 might still have been hampering him. The inconsistency of the QB position didn't exactly help out the running game, either.

McNair actually played in 14 games in 2005.

I'm not going to deny Henry was a big part of the Titans' season in 2006, but I'm just curious why he didn't play a bigger role in 2005 as well.

I feel I've been fairly reasonable about Young and Henry, although you won't see Vol423 mention that as it wouldn't go along with his "All Titans fans have Young in the hall of fame" stuff that he constantly spews without apparently even reading all posts made by Titans fans.

Comparing Tebow to Young is a pretty terrible comparison.

VY got praise because he was doing exactly what he was doing at Texas in 2004.

VY may not be as good as Lienart or Cutler, but he most certainly could be. As much as Vol423 hates it, the Titans won't suck forever. They are incredibly young.
