The only thing I ever really remember about him is when he said Mike Williams would be an NFL bust. Mel Kiper of course thought that was preposterous. I think the way things played out shows how much more guys that actually played the game know than Mel.

Merrill Hoge is wrong a lot more often than he is right. Sean Salisbury is by far the best analyst they have.

I would agree with this statement

That guy certainly knew what he was talking about.

And yet they still made the playoffs like I said they could back in August. I thought the Titans wouldn't win more than 5 games, VIA? What happened?

Did I say that? I honestly don't remember.

I respect that you want to defend him. However, as was the case in 2006, the Titans win with the running game and a good defense. Give the Titans a QB like Matt Hasselbeck, and they're challenging Indy for #2.

Looks like you are correct. I'll surely be wrong again. Good for the Titans and I'm excited for you. I dislike the Chargers, so I'll have a small rooting interest for the Fighting Vince Youngs.

Look, I'm not saying I'm satisfied with Vince's performance this season, my post was mainly a reminder to few certain posters who said there was exactly 0% chance Tennessee would make the playoffs this year.

I'm really hope it isn't going to happen but it's looking more likely that VY won't be the answer. He gets injured to often and hasn't showed consistant improvement. We moved the ball better when Collins came in..

Next year will tell a lot though.
