| | VN GURU | Corey Dillon Good Fit For Titans? Dillon/Titans Set To Talk Quote:
"(Corey) is one of those guys that's saved his money, invested it extremely well and would not have to play any more for financial reasons,'' agent Steven Feldman said. "But he's also a guy who still loves the game of football. "If it is the right situation he would play, and the Titans would appear to be the right situation. It's a great organization with a great coach. They have an exciting quarterback and a real need at running back. So it might make a lot of sense.'' | Options are few out there and Dillon likely has plenty left... |

| Isn't Dillon another big, somewhat slow running back? I'm not sure that's the best complement to the obese, extremely slow running back they already have. |

Dillon's days of being the feature back are certainly behind him. He would be a suitable backup for Addai in Indy. That would solve their Mungro dillema. |

| Well, he'd be byfar the best back on the Titans which should allow him to get the bulk of the carries, which is the only way he'd be happy. I'd rather they not bother with him at this point in his career.

| I think this would help the Titans. They need a running back. |

| While they need a running back, Dillon is too worn down and too prone to injury to be a solid option for Tennessee. Maroney would have been the starter by game 2 in New England but they feared Dillon would disrupt the clubhouse.
Their best option is to probably go the draft route. We saw last year several productive backs drafted on the first day; Maroney, Jones-Drew, De'Angelo Williams, Addai, etc. |

| Lendale has really dissapointed me in his brief career, but he'll probably turn into a good back. I think the Titans shoud go after Dillon. He would be a good mentor for Lendale and would likely be here for 1 year. Turner would be a good choice but the Titans would have to give to much up to get him, plus if he left the Chargers why would he want to go somewhere else to be another backup so I don't think he would be interseted in playing here. |

| couldn't hurt to have a vet behind Lendale. i think back to the panthers run in 03......Stephen Davis and Deshaun Foster that year proved to be a pretty good duo, and neither one were real great by themselves.
in this day and age, you need two guys.......neither takes the complete beating and both provide different things while in there......
prolly not a bad move if the Titans get him, even if only for 1 or 2 years.

Turner is unrestricted after the upcoming season which means he is gone and the Chargers get nothing for him. It would make a lot of sense for them to go ahead and make some sort of trade now and get what they can for him instead of him leaving and SD being left empty handed. IMO he WILL be moved to the titans or bills via trade. This guy would start on most teams in the NFL...he is a stud and I hope the titans find a way to get him to Nashville. |

| Turner would be a better long term fit than Dillon, and also a good running mate with White this season..if not draft a good RB project with a late pick after we fill our needs..so if not Turner, get Dillon and we have Dillo,Brown, and White for this season...but i see a dissapointment and them get netiehr and draft one in tha 5th/6th round
