OK, I understand the game now.

If teams today played teams from the past, the old teams would get absolutely murdered. Offense and defense is so much more sophisticated. Players are bigger, faster, stronger. Etc.

That being said, if you hypothetically level that playing field then I guess I would like to see:

'85 Bears vs '16 Panthers
'72 Dolphins vs '07 Patriots

That Skins team is severely underrated but had one of the best offensive lines to ever play the game. Would love to see that matchup between them and the Pathers defense.

'85 Bears and the '07 Patriots (even without the ring) remain the two most dominant teams I've ever seen. That would be my pick. Followed by the '78 Steelers vs. the '89 49ers.

I like that one, but Bears had good offense. Ravens had a good run game but had to face 8 in the box all the time. Bears win, IMO.
