I was wondering what everyone was thinking about today's matchup?
Broncos 13. Manning 175 pass yrds
Patriots 24 Brady 217 pass yrds

Hopefully in wrong on my W pick. Go Broncos!

IMO the Broncos are going to have to be hitting on all cylinders to sneak out of Foxboro with a W.

Broncos are the Number 1 seed, sport. The Patsys are in Mile High.

Peyton's legacy will be greatly lifted if he wins this Super Bowl. 1-3 record in Super Bowls would not be a good look.

And I think he'll do it. That Denver defense is insane and I think Cam will end up choking.

because he's done that a lot this year huh?:eek:lol:

i think Denver'd defense is petty damn good. i didn't think anyone would stop NE quick passing game, especially to the point where they could get pressure on brady, because everything happened so fast.

Denver's D showed why they're #1.

if we lose, it will be because Denvers' defense wins the game.. which is possible.

it will not be because this team, or anyone on it, chokes.

So did Brady choke? This was a pretty similar outcome to Manning's AFCCG loss in NWE in 2003. I didn't think Manning choked then*, but everybody said he did, and I don't think the Colts were even favored?

*I have a pretty strict definition of choking.

I hate the Pats. What these Brady-Manning matchups have shown is that no one choked in any of those games - the home field advantage was huge.

One question I had: At the end of the first half, after the Pats took a kneel down, they showed the Broncos Owen Daniel getting agitated on the sidelines and yelling across the field. Has anyone asked him what that was about? I wondered whether he was watching the Pats' footballs and asking them to be taken by the refs.

Was 03 the one in the snow when the Pats D mauled the indy WRs the whole game and directly lead to the way D holding/PI is called today?

Yeah. Manning had 4 picks, but they were trying to play catchup in the snow against an elite D. He made some mistakes but who can blame him? Brady is as seasoned as they come, and you saw what an elite D can do to a QB, especially when they are in pass only situations.

Does the INT Brady threw on the 2pt conversion not count as an INT?
