It kind of looks more like they said they had discussed the idea of doing such, but they decided against it.

I'll believe it when I see it.
I still don't think he plays again. It's a PR hit to pick up a guy like Rice and he just isn't' as good as he once was. Especially after a full year away from the game. No way he'd last 16 games without pulling something.

I don't think the Browns could sink any lower in terms of PR, so I think they'd be safe
