| I heard he went to the hospital, but if he truly attempted suicide, I will be as speechless as you. He would be the last person I would expect. Well, I don't KNOW Owens besides his public persona.

| Weird . . . I just finished reading over at ESPN.com where he was hospitalized and I thought this passage was odd before I even saw the suicide report. Quote: |

| What's weird about it? That's a common treatment for overdosing on medication.

| Honestly, I'm not surprised. It's sad, but didn't we all know that he was pretty messed up in the head? Hopefully he gets some help. |

| Not accusing the guy of anything, but wonder if he has taken steroids or androgens. These substances taken in high doses are linked with suicidial tendencies. Not claiming he has, just looking for a reason for something that seemed highly unexpected. | |
