| LT was overrated, IMO. Great player, but his line was amazing:
2004: LT - 3.9 ypc, Chatman 6.0 ypc
2005: LT - 4.3 ypc, Turner 5.9 ypc
2006: LT - 5.5 ypc, Turner 6.3 ypc, Neal 4.8 ypc
2007: LT - 4.7 ypc, Turner - 4.5 ypc, Sproles - 4.4 ypc
2008: LT - 3.8 ypc, Sproles - 5.5 ypc |

| Of course a change of pace back who gets way less carries can put up good numbers
Especially with speedy backs |

| Those one day ceremonial contracts are stupid. I think it'd be better if he signed a one day deal with the Browns or the Milwaukee Brewers then retired. |

Especially with speedy backs | Except for all the ones who don't put up good numbers. |

I'm showing that LT enjoyed a dominant OL. No matter who was running, they were having success. |

But I will have to disagree with your opinion. | Like I said, he's great, but no matter how good you are, you can get too much praise. That's why I say he's overrrated. I'm not the only one that thinks he got way too much recognition. Quote:
10. Ladainian Tomlinson (Chargers)
Some of you are going, "does this guy understand football at all? He thinks LT is overrated? What?". That reaction is understandable. LT is a really good running back. I don't, however, jump on the "LT is the greatest running back since Jim Brown, Emmitt Smith and Barry Sanders" bandwagon.
I believe that LT, like all great backs, is the product of a very good and often unnoticed offensive line. LT is not, Chargers fans and fantasy owners, the best thing since sliced bread.

| I'm a Raider fan. LT got to run against the Raider's D (if you would call it a D) twice a year. Had some of his best games against the Raiders, as did many backs in the past 10 years or so. Sad 10 years for Raider fans. Glad to see him outta here. |

I'd say the fact that they take that into account means he isn't overrated.
Nobody really points that out when they talk about LT. |
