...in concussion era.

It will be interesting to see where the NFL ends up. With the latest medical statistics it would seem the game (or equipment?) is destined to change. Not to mention the lawsuits that are more and more prevalent....

That would be ironic since Hoge had to retire due to repeated concussions.

you forgot UTs own Inky Johnson -- but there seems to be more cheap shots in the NBA and MLB than in the NFL these days (flagrant fouls, pitchers throwing at heads etc) Dont even ask about hockey

Do you even watch baseball. They is hardly ever a pitcher who throws at the head of a barter. They may throw up and in, but definitely not at the head.

Also, how many concussions have you seen occur in the NBA from a flagrant foul

That wasn't a flagrant foul. That was assault.

Brady hasnt had any either - just a cheap shot on the acl by a lineman -- missed the World Peace elbow did you ? It was to the head right ? Bet you would love to get drilled by a Cole Hammels fastball -- on purpose BTW did you read the thread about the players complaining about having to wear knee and thigh pads ? I rest my case
