Tragic case study for concussion effects just like Dave Duerson. I hate that a former Falcon had to endure such things and hope his struggle helps bring about some positive changes. Hope you're flying high once again.

It befuddles me that current NFL players ALWAYS choose to absolve themselves (as much as they can) of looking out for retired players (and their future selves). If the NFL knew about concussion risks and tried to lie to players, then they deserve to be sued by former players.

With the knowledge we now have, professional players should now hold themselves accountable for their own welfare in regard to concussions and I wouldn't blame the NFL if they wanted players to sign waivers or documents acknowledging the risks involved and their responsibility for said risks. JMO

After the NFL deals with the incoming lawsuits, I'm certain they will require waivers regarding concussions to play.
