I thought he left because he was buried on the depth chart and wanted to play.

Per NFL. com

Poole

GRADE 52.7
40 4.54 SEC
Bench press 24 REPS
Vertical 34.0 INCH
Broad Jump 118.0 INCH
3 Cone Drill 7.36 SEC
Shuttle Drill 4.19 SEC

OVERVIEW

Poole was hampered not by ability or injuries, but turmoil and change while at Tennessee. The coaching change hit in the middle of his career, and rebuilding phases hurt his ability to be productive. Despite this, Poole is a player who has consistently displayed the ability to run between the tackles, block, and show the overall savvy to compete and find a role in an NFL offense. Expect him to be taken in the late rounds for a team looking to take a mature player who can step in and compete for a backup and special teams role immediately.

ANALYSIS

STRENGTHS Poole is a savvy and experienced runner who is concerned with getting up field and taking what he can get from a defense. He is elusive for a bigger runner and understands how to pick his spots and burst through the hole. At the second level he has shown the ability to juke linebackers and run through them for positive yards. He is a reliable and consistent back who takes care of the ball.

WEAKNESSES Poole is a serviceable back and far from electric. He was reliable for Tennessee but always faced pressure from younger and more talented backs to take his job. He will need to show he can contribute on special teams to make a 53 man roster.

Per NFL.com

Creer

GRADE 50.5
40 yard dash 4.71 SEC
Bench Press 21 REPS
Vertical Jump 33.5 INCH
Broad Jump 110.0 INCH
3 cone Drill 7.26 SEC
Shuttle Drill 4.40 SEC

OVERVIEW

Creer enjoyed a very successful career at Louisiana Tech after transferring from Tennessee after his freshman year. Stuck behind some older, more talented players, as well as eyeing a fresh recruiting class that could outplay him with a new coaching staff in place at Tennessee, Lennon headed west to La Tech and was able to put valuable work on tape that showed him as an NFL-ready back. If he can display the same type of speed and athletic ability he did in his senior year on special teams in the NFL, Lennon is worthy of a late-round selection. A strong showing at the Shrine game, parlayed into a rare invite to a second all-star game (Senior Bowl), Lennon could muster up some steam to be taken in the late rounds.

ANALYSIS

STRENGTHS Lennon is explosive out of his stance. He is quick to hit the hole and rarely fumbled at Louisiana Tech. In the mold of the "Law Firm," Ben Jarvis Green-Ellis of New England, Creer could be the type of athletic, serviceable and trustworthy back who could garner a lot of carries at the next level. With the days of one running back getting all the carries gone, Lennon could be a very good option early on and is capable of picking up blocking schemes; generally the one thing that keeps backs off the field early. Lennon is pro-ready and has been through a lot of adversity throughout his collegiate career.

WEAKNESSES
Up until his senior year, Creer wasn't able to put much work on tape. He is a decent runner through the tackles but doesn't have the speed to gain an edge and get outside on an NFL defense. He could be a decent option early on and will have to be a special teams contributor to guarantee sticking on a 53-man roster.
