Irsay wouldn't have done this if he didn't want what's best for the franchise. |

| I don't really see how people can be mad at Irsay for this. If anything, he's doing Peyton a favor so that he can go to an established team. |

| I think Irsay is pretty genuine though. From what I've heard, they have been really close friends from day one. This is just the business side of sports and sometimes tough decisions have to be made.

| Don't get me wrong, with the current state of the Colts I kinda glad that Irsay is letting him go and giving him the opportunity to go somewhere where he might be able to win another SB, but as a Colts fan this is just the straw that broke the camels back. Irsay letting Manning along with all the other established starters he's letting go just roves he has no clue how to rebuild a franchise. He's gonna need established vets to teach the new, young guys and he's not gonna have that on offense. |

| Just as a good qb leaves another one will enter Indy. There is no guarantee Luck will be as good or worse than manning but Luck will be a better rookie imo. So just as the Colts lose lots of fans because of one player, they will gain a bunch because of one player. It's just a cycle |

| Hope Colts fans weren't too upset about this season because I have a feeling they've got about 6 years of Detroit Lions-esque fail ahead of them. |
