| Not yet he isn't. Almost everyone that forgot more than any of us will ever know are saying the same thing.
He's got to string together some more consistent seasons before being considered.
Sorry, but that is likely fact as it stands right now
Milo, even if this poll overwhelmingly says yes, it doesn't support your argument. You do a poll among current HOFers, ex-player analysts and ex-coach analysts and your feelings would be hurt.

Second, I've avoided SportsCenter for the most part since the end of the conference championship games, but when I have tuned in, the majority of the pundits I have heard are of the opinion that Eli is in the same ballpark now as Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Brady, etc. and I have heard HOF tossed around more than once. |

Every analyst has said the same thing. Heck, he threw 25 interceptions in 2010.
There's simply no way he would get voted in were he to have a career ending injury next season.
I believe he will get in, but not based on his career up to this point. Sorry, but that's a consensus among the group I mentioned in my previous post. |

He might eventually get there, but it's almost a fact he wouldn't get in right now, at least based on what current HOFers are saying. Too many interceptions in previous years.
Quite honestly, he wouldn't get within sniffing distance were there to be a vote for him right now. Sorry |

Who said anything about right now? I'm just assuming he has 5-8 more years of 3500+ yards and 25+ TD's. |

| 2005 24 tds 17 ints
2006 24 tds 18 ints
2007 23 tds 20 ints SB win
2008 21 tds 10 ints
2009 27 tds 14 ints
2010 31 tds 25 ints
2011 29 tds 16 ints SB win
Numbers not nearly prolific enough to merit consideration were he to not play ever again. Way too many ints as well. The two Super Bowls are awesome, but he is going to need more years like 2009 and 2011 before there is even a thought to him getting into the HOF. |

| Terry Bradshaw* and Troy Aikman* are laughing at you.
*212 TD's, 210 INT's
**165 TD's, 142 INT's
Eli has 185 TD's and 129 INT's....and about half his career left. |

I agree he will get in after a few more good years |

Eli has 185 TD's and 129 INT's....and about half his career left. | Bradshaw has 4 SBs and Aikman has 3. If Manning wins another one, he'll get in regardless of stats |

| If his career ended today, probably not first-ballot, but probably still HOF. |
