they're actually still saying he had say...and perhaps final choice (they're not being overly clear there)...in which team he'd go to

That actually seems about right maybe I guess?
Btw, who is that guy in your avatar? He looks like Justin Tuck.

Adam Schefter later said Denver was going to do what was in Denver's best interest. Still I don't like Tebow at all but Elway did him dirty by sending him to New York. He could have started day one in Jacksonville, I guess John felt like screwing him one last time.

he's also saying though that Denver and its staff won Tebow over

so might well be both, but they're still saying at this point that Tebow had a degree of say in where he was dealt

Actually though, Schefter also reported Tebow chose NYJ because he didn't feel Jacksonville had confidence in him and NYJ promised to utilize him.

It was said that the Broncos asked Tebow which team he'd prefer to be traded to and he said the Jets.

The more I think about it, the more I think this was a good move. Their offense needs something to make it more dynamic. If nothing else, teams preparing for the wildcat will take away from time preparing for Mark Sanchez. Every bit helps when you have a struggling offense. As long as it doesn't turn into a major controversy, I'd say it was a good move.

Tim Tebow Absolutely Horrified After First Phone Conversation With Rex Ryan | The Onion - America's Finest News Source

Quote:
NEW YORK—Confusion, disgust, and terror were among the emotions new Jets quarterback Tim Tebow reported feeling after a 20-minute phone call with New York coach Rex Ryan. "Coach Ryan is a very…expressive person. Really descriptive. He can be a little vulgar, though," the visibly distraught Tebow told reporters while attempting to hold a glass of ice water steady enough to drink from it. "He told me what he wants the Jets to do next year. Then he told me I'd like New York, and why. Then he told me about, about the 'fun' we are all going to have together. That was most of the call. I have to go now. I have to call my parents. I have to be alone for a while." Coach Ryan said he enjoyed talking with Tebow, whom he described as "a nice, quiet kid with a good head for football who gasps a lot when you talk about poontang."

Rough finals week, so I went on an interwebs fast. Should be wrapped up in a couple hours, then I'm off to San Diego and Meheeco on Saturday morning.

He will play much more than that.

I personally don't buy the usefulness of the wildcat, but it's still utilized, and Tebow's case happens to be the one where it makes the most sense.

Third-and-Tebow, about to make a comeback in the NFL

he is a third string tight end for the Titans. I can never remember his name. He just happened to get in the middle of something amusing in Indy the day I was looking for an avi.
