| This comes up almost everytime you see a player on the sidelines smiling and laughing when their team is down big during a game. It does give the appearance that the player doesn't care, but thats usually not the case. It doesn't look good though. |

Could've just said, "I'm not going to go into specifics on a private conversation, but you're right, I was smiling...that said, he and I were 100% focused on the game, and I don't think there's anything wrong with a bit of levity in football...it's a game and as a leader on this team, I try to make sure we're having fun and enjoying each and every one of these we're privileged enough to play in ...but again, there's obviously nothing funny about losing and I hope it wasn't interpreted that way.
