Just signed a 1 year, 2 million dollar deal with the Bengals.

As a fan, I'm happy, but we will see how it works out

HA yes!

Now (Even as nowhere near productive as owens once was) Ochocinco's value goes down and I can trade the guy some junk in our keeper league to get him

WR core of Johnson, Moss, and Chad...here I come!

it's ok you won't have to inform them at all.

ESPN will remind them; every single day...on every sportscenter, until T.O. leaves the team

I disagree. TO had no other options. If he screws this up he is finished and his legacy ends up even more tarnished than it already is. There is good leadership from the Head Coach on down. TO is running out of time to be on a winning team and play in the playoffs. His deal is incentive laden and I think he will fit in well this year.

I think you are right. Plus, over the past couple seasons, TO has toned it down a bit hasn't he?

That's actually the only thing I don't like about the deal.

Half his money is tied into personal performance. Structuring his compensation that way could set him up to be barking at Palmer weeks 10-14 for not getting him the ball enough to reach his performance bonuses.

He's still a good player, though not a top 5 or 10 receiver in the league anymore. I think he makes them better and is worth rolling the dice on. It'll be interesting to follow.

Just look at their recievers: T.O., Ocho, Antonio Bryant, Jordan Shipley and Jermaine Grisham. Couple that with the same strong run game & solid defense they had last year and they are contenders to go all the way.

I believe the incentives in terms of catches and yards are very similar to the numbers he put up last year with Buffalo. If Carson is back to playing like we all know he is capable of those number will be no problem for him.

there are some incentives built in that he has no realistic chance of reaching.

He has the possibility of making up to 6mil. But realistically, he'll prob make around $3.5
