Tim Tebow & the NFL. Call your shot

There will be numerous Tebow threads this year, might as well get one started.

I've heard that the Bronco's are gonna use him much like the Gators did in his Frosh year. I don't know how well that will work. People will be going crazy after he scrambles for his first 1st down, but I don't see him being a complete QB.

I vote moderate success.

I have posed this question on twitter & I can't do anything but laugh. I have gotten responses like this

Quote:
Keep in mind though.Tebow doesn't have to run as much as he did in the SEC.. he just has to be able to run more than any other QB
I don't even know what this means.

Quote:
This is Y he's imposble 2 beat, becuz gives his team an advantage that can't B beat. Only way to match it is to get another Tebow
I would say the Raiders can match Tebow with Rolando McClain, or John Henderson, or Richard Seymour, or Tommy Kelly.

The Chiefs got Derrick Johnson & a man named Eric Berry.

I am ready for some pro football, especially now that I will get to see Tebow try to out run the AFC's finest.

IMO, he is a redzone threat.

He is NOT someone who will drive 80 yards down the field in 2 minutes and score a TD

I really don't think we can tell for sure. He's a project. As a Bronco fan, I'm fine with his throwing motion. A little tweaking should suffice. However, he has to learn how to read a defense. I don't think you can say for sure if that will happen. But he has a serious advantage over other rookie QBs who come in this raw in that he will be the first one at practice and the last to leave. That's got to count for something. If it's possible, then I think Tebow can do it. Champ has already praised his work ethic and given him his approval. And Champ doesn't give many QBs credit.

Quote:
Future Hall of Famer and team leader Champ Bailey is relaxing near the entrance to the team’s locker room, about to enjoy the air conditioning and a post-practice meal.

Bailey suddenly points to a figure on a distant field. A solitary player remains at work.

It’s Tim Tebow.

“See that?” Bailey asks. “That’s Tebow. It’s long after practice and he’s still out there. That’s what he does. That’s not for show. He’s not just doing that because the media is here today. He does that every day.”

That’s why Bailey, one of the best left cornerbacks of this era and someone whose opinion on quarterbacks matters, is putting his bet on Tebow.
