Viewing threads on the iPhone

So when I tap the title of a thread with unread posts in it, sometimes it skips right down to the first unread post, but other times it just goes to the top of whichever page has the first unread post and then stops, and then I have to scroll down to the bottom to see any new posts. I cannot for the life of me figure out any pattern to which it does; I'd say it's about half one and half the other. This appears to be true of all forums.

Any ideas?

My laptop is being repaired so I'm actually on my iPhone now. The only thing Ive noticed is that if I'm impatient and try to scroll before the page is completely loaded, the page stays at that point rather than going to the last post. I'll keep an eye on it and see if I notice anyting in the next (very long) week or so.

It happens whether I try to scroll or not -- just tested by trying to load a thread and setting the phone down until the page finished loading. It stayed up at the top of the page.

It's not that big a deal, but it's just weird that it's inconsistent.

It's a bug that I've been unable to fix to this point. I have no idea what causes it to happen at times and not others.
