IE8 Question

We use Internet Explorer at work and I now have IE8 from the latest update. Is there a way to adjust the address bar so that I can use the arrow next to it? Before, I would use the arrow and have the address bar drop down so that I could quickly go to a previous website but now it just highlights the current address in the address bar when you click on the arrow to the right of it.

I use Firefox at home and I'm not to crazy about Internet Explorer.
