| Firefox 3.0.5 Does anyone else hate this version or have any problems with it?
I just updated it a few days ago since my computer was nagging me to & I have some grievances with it.
For starters it keeps bookmarking pages on it's on & I have to keep deleting them. Next, when I click on 'Bookmarks' to view them & a box pops up wanting me to bookmark the current page I'm viewing even though it's on my saved tags at the top.
It's getting annoying when I open a new tab the the URL from the other page I was viewing is in the new tab.
I don't get the deal with my bookmarks showing up when I'm typing in a URL, that also annoys me.
Is there a way to turn this stuff off? I looked in options & didn't see anything. |

| I love firefox, I'm still amazed that someone came out with a browser that blows microsoft's internet explorer out of the water with all their resoures.

| Your problems are coming from some toolbar or something would be my guess. I don't have any of the bookmark problems you are experiencing.

| I didn't have these problems with the last version I had, it started with .5 & I didn't download any other tool bars or anything. It's very peculiar. I'm gonna dig around & see if I can find something.
It doesn't ask me to bookmark something every time but when it does it irritates me, right now I'm trying to make it happen so I can take a screen shot but it's refusing to cooperate. |

| No, I don't touch my keyboard unless I'm typing.
Here's the screen I just took. This is what pops up when I click the gold star in the address bar like it's suppose to but it also does it every so often when I click to view my bookmarks. |
