Strikethrough text?

I find that I occasionally need the ability to edit someone else's quoted post with strikethrough test -- i.e., the crossout line running through it -- in order to be sufficiently snarky and sarcastic while methodically destroying their idiotic, misbegotten excuses for ideas. None of the usual HTML tags for that seem to work. Any way to make it happen?
