Laptops are Top 3 in my book, but their desktops aren't near as good, IMO.

Should be moved to the tech forum, and freak even posted in here... Shameful.

They make decent, basic-use laptops. You can get one and a RAM expansion for pretty cheap.

EDIT: Take my word on that RAM expansion, BTW. Vista on less than 2GB DDR2 = Teh suck

i got an acer aspire 3500 laptop about 2 years ago and have never had any problems with it. just not as much space as i would like on it.
