how do you save pictures from the new utsports.com photo galleries?

There may be a better way, but here is one:

While viewing the picture, hit the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard.

Go to your favorite photo editing software and paste the image in and crop it down to your liking. (I actually use Powerpoint a lot to do this)

Save the picture in your desired format.

I think you have to hold ALT while pressing Print Screen.

You don't have to, it is an option.

I just made this one without the ALT button.

There may be a better way. I think your screen resolution may come into play the way that I suggested.

I get them by clearing out my Temp. Internet Files folder, then opening up the picture gallery on utsports. Cycling through the pictures will put them in your Temp. Int. Files folder where you can copy/paste them wherever you like.
