I'm trying to install iTunes, on a new Lenevo, that's running windows 8, and I keep getting this error message.


Apple Application Support was not found
Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes. Please uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again.
Error 2 (Windows error 2)

and don't post, uninstall and re install

Uninstall all iTunes products off your computer. Mobile Support, Application Support, Software Update, Bonjour and, of course, iTunes.

Not trying to demoralize you, just asking, you are going into the Control Panel uninstall programs to remove all those programs right? It won't work if you just tell the iTunes Installer/Updater to remove them in the re installation for whatever reason.
