I've detected many threats on this website over the past year. No virus though, it's some of the usual posters.

I clicked on a link the other day and a virus came on the tried to get me to buy protection. They told me to take it in. That was the virus and it isn't blocked by the software. Geek squad said they were getting a ton of them.

There was a link to a basketball game about two weeks ago on a Saturday that jacked my laptop up.

AVG told me of a Trjosn Horse attempt the other day. It was blocked and proceeded. It was the only thing I've seen. Eh. It's a good site.

I'm guessing it's the ads. Pretty common, nowadays. You give those ****ers the ability to put any ad they want on your site, and they can't screen the content of the ads very well.

Can't blame Freak, he's gotta pay the bills. Blame the advertisement management company.

I've had to use Malware anti virus last week on a Trojan virus..wasn't sure it was frim this site..
then this morning, this was the only site I had running and it popped up again..
so i went through the safe start and Malware again and removed it..

so I think there is a virus somewhere

Are you guys running Chrome or something similar with an ad blocker add-on? If not, I would recommend it. Whenever I load the site in Chrome with the ad blocker, I don't have any problems.

Yep, it's either that or you guys pay to use the website. That said, the only virus warnings I can remember are from links members post from time to time.

Yeah i had a phony xp 2012 antivirus program come on my screen the other day. Tried to get me to buy it. Bascially locked up my computer. Just restart and quickly go to system restore before it catches on and restore to a early date. Then make sure you update your antivirus protection before you browse anymore.

That's the one I got but your fix didn't work for me. My work version of McAfee did not detect it even after updating.
