Don't know how many other VN'ers are Atl Hawks fans but I was at the opening game tonight and aside from the absence of any defense from either team the Hawks looked to be the real deal again this year.

Beat the Pacers 120-109.

Horford was an absolute beast. Finished with 24pts and 16 rebs.

IMO... The Orlando Magic... they say they are the deepest team in the league! The Magic will be extra scary once Rashard Lewis comes back off his suspension.

The magic don't really scare me. They traded Hedo for an aging Vince Carter. They're a good team but, Boston is the only team that scares me really. Cleveland is starting slooooow as well.

Boston's aging Garnett is still not 100% after his knee injury last year and without him at full force, they will be dismissed by Dwight Howard and Co. come playoff time!

Hawks are the best team in league thus far. #1 in the ESPN Power Rankings. Have beaten the Celtics, Blazers, Nuggets, and Heat in a 10 day span.
