You really have a list with Shaq over Wilt? I can't stand Wilt, but he was the most dominant basketball player to ever step foot on the court. Shaq's MDE handle is just silliness.

It was a toss-up...I gave Shaq the nod because of the rings, and a slight generational favoritism.

and that I understand. Wilt has some rings. He also happened to exist when Boston played 5 all-stars and brought another off the bench.

The comparison of the two is a good one. Both dominant physical specimens with no FT shooting ability whatsoever. I do think Wilt had much better moves and touch around the bucket.

No Moses Malone? The man sweat more than any human alive.

My personal favorite was from the planet Lovetron...Chocolate Thunder himself. His most famous dunk was "The Chocolate-Thunder-Flying, Robinzine-Crying, Teeth-Shaking, Glass-Breaking, Rump-Roasting, Bun-Toasting, Wham-Bam, Glass-Breaker-I-Am-Jam."

Other fun facts.

He named other dunks as well: the Rim Wrecker, the Go-Rilla, the Look Out Below, the In-Your-Face Disgrace, the Cover Your Head, the Yo-Mama, and the Spine-Chiller Supreme. The 76ers also kept a separate column on the stat sheet for Dawkins’s self-created nicknames: "Sir Slam", "Dr. Dunkenstein" and "Chocolate Thunder."

Also, he claimed to be an alien from planet Lovetron where he spent off-season practicing "interplanetary funkmanship" and where his girlfriend Juicy Lucy still lived.[1]

I've flown over it a couple times. I gotta say, I've never really been able to understand that whole scene. Superman, people from Krypton, they all get destroyed by Kryptonite! I mean, that doesn't make any sense. See, I'm Chocolate Thunder, but I don't get destroyed by chocolate. I like chocolate.

That was my whole thing, taking the ladies out there. That's why, when I go there, I travel in an invisible transporter, so everybody can see all the fine women I travel with. I like to show them off, you know. Back in the day, Lola Folana was often to be seen in my spaceship.

NM: What about Darth Vader? He seems like he's probably got some game.

DD: Oh definitely, Darth is a mother in the paint. He just backs you down and backs you down. He's relentless.

IMO you have to put Jabbar and Shaq as the two best big men of all time. I don't believe that any other two players in the history of the NBA affected the Association the way these two did. For me:

2. Shaq
3. Russel
4. Wilt
5. Hakeem
