i like dante a lot and he did well trying to replace DA, but were too loaded down low. when you look at the team overall now you have to say were improved. Getting me really pumped for next season

I like Dante too. Unfortunately, he won't receive any playing time now with DA back. Besides, we need somebody who can come in and knock down threes and Ellington is great for that role.

id like someone a little better than Ellington, but either way, Dante wouldnt play very much at all and wed at least get some use out of ellington

This morning Tillery said that Pargo will likely only play one more summer league game. He will then either be traded or get bought out and go play in Europe.

Also said OJ has already sold his house and didn't have an exit interview with the coaches (not sure if this is common or what). He said OJ handled his time here as professionally as you could ask for but he is ready to move on. He is convinced he is starter material and never could get used to the reserve role.

not very surprised on either. probably the better thing for all parties involved. gonna miss me some Juice though

Callers into the Vernon Show are acting like Wroten is the second coming. Saying he will battle Conley for the starting spot. Need to slow their rolls. It's two games of summer league. Hell, Bayless was summer league MVP in '08 I think.

They've also called him a combo guard..convo of magic and MJ, said to amnesty Rudy cause he's the next pippen, and said he's the 92 dream team rolled into one. It's a running joke..

I think Wroten has potential to be a steal. He has the size and skills to be a solid player in this league. If he can make his shooting somewhat respectable like Rondo did, he'll have a long productive career.

What I like most about Wroten is that he is a facilitator.

You can usually tell who are Summer league stars and who have the potential to be stars. Take Selby for instance, there's no way in hell he continues to light it up like that. He's very inconsistent. Wroten on the other hand has great handles and is great off the dribble. Look for things that translate in these games. Wroten is very smooth, and is the main reason I wanted the Grizzlies to take him no matter who was on the board.

I'd go bananas if the Grizz could dump Pargo and get a 2nd round pick in return. Here's to hoping that any sucker takes him.

I heard the callers on the Vernon show, it is summer league. I am glad we drafted him but I am with Gary Parrish when he says Wroten will be playing in the D-league this year.

I'm good with Wroten playing in the NBDL if he's just going to sit on the bench all season (which looks likely if we get Ellington)
