NBA is fixed

As a casual observer to the finals (I am bulls fan) I'd like to give an neutral assessment of the officiating. It seemed like they were fairly neutral for the first 35 mins neutrally bad, but neutral none the less. The last 13 min. however they seemed to favor Boston. Did anyone else see all the jersey grabbing in the second half by Boston. Pj Brown pushed Luke Walton right in the face with the ref standing right there. Who got the foul? Thats right Walton. Kobe drove the lane and got all kinds of contact with no fouls called. On the other side they called lots of touch fouls. The real sad thing is that I'm sure when it gets back to L.A. they will flip these calls over to L.A.. I know its hard to ref a game as I have done it a few times myself, but you can't let the home crowd influence your calls. Or is it worse than that? Is the standing rule to play the crowd late in the game? Your thoughts???

I dunno. The officiating has been okay throughout the playoffs, with some sore spots standing out. The foul at the end of game 7 between the Lakers and the Spurs stands out the most.

Boston won that game, but the Lakers were playing against the refs a couple times there, too.

I was not saying that the Lakers should have won. Just that it seems like at the end of the game it seemed as if the refs were making calls or not making them for the crowd. I was thinking it seems like every home team gets these calls at the end of games. When this series gets back to L.A. then the Lakers will get these calls. I would just rather the foul get called no matter who has home court. Don't call a foul so the fans can cheer you.

I hate to quote myself but. This is by far the worst called game I have ever seen, in any sport. It's the end of the third quarter, and the foul shot difference is absurd 26 to 4. I have seen at least 15 fouls not called against Boston.... More after the game.

The refs very quickly rendered Perkins a non-factor in this game with some quick foul calls. But, then they went on a tear of giving the men in green a bunch of calls. They settled down in the 3rd quarter, though...it seemed to me. While there were fouls being committed, they were generally letting them play on both ends at that point. They're getting a bit quick with the whistle again here in the 4th.

In the first 5 mins. of the third my wife looked at me and said David Stern must have yelled at the refs during halftime. After that she said that the refs must have bet their homes on the game. Now this is coming from a moderate sports fan at best.

Seems like the refs are trying to catch the Lakers up at the line so it doesn't look so bad in the box score.

L.A.'s problem is that they are mad at the refs. Players that fell like they got fouled are just standing there looking at the refs allowing the fast breaks to happen.
