Some interesting stuff here. I'm not buying it completely because I think WHO you guard is vitally important too. Once we figure how to better incorporate that we can really measure defense. But still some fun stuff .

Was discussing this with friends. The shot chart is cool. The problem I see with all this is they will put too much emphasis on how well you guard your man, not overall defensive contribution.
