Look at the numbers when Kobe first became a starter when he was 20. He played every game and averaged 38 minutes per game in '99, and only averaged 20/5/4, still not as good as LeBron's rookie year.

In LeBron's 3rd year, he averaged 31/7/6, which blows Kobe's 3rd year out of the water.

I totally agree Lebron is better comparing year by year. If he had more minutes to develop, Kobe could have peaked earlier than he did. You also gotta remember Lebron was on a bad team with more shot opportunities. Lebron was taking 23 attempts in his 3rd year, while Kobe was only taking 16
