Dream 12

If the Jazz could have any 12 players...

Starters:
Chris Paul
James Harden
Lebron James
Kevin Love
Dwight Howard

Bench:
Rajon Rondo
Arron Afflalo
Kevin Durant
Gerald Wallace
Tyson Chandler
Al Horford
Andre Iguodala

I'm not saying these are the best 12. I'm saying these 12 are all great, and will give me the optimal balance of scoring, defense, and rebounding.

For the starting five, the two spot is the only place that should be debatable. CP3, LeBron, KLove and Dwight are all clearly the best at what they do and for the most part it's not close.

1. Earl Boykins
2. Kobe
3. Clearance Witherspoon ( can't remember if he played the 2 or 3, doesn't matter, I got Kobe )
4. Reggie Evans
5. Luc Longley

Kobe's will to win could lead this team to a championship.

BTW, according to advanced stats James Harden just had the 2nd greatest season ever for a guard 22 years of age, or younger.

No, actually CP3. MJ was a rookie at 21, and played 18 games at 22, so he didn't get much of a chance at that #1 spot.

Ever? I've got Magic and Stockton as a push, with JKidd right behind them. I'm thinking CP3 ends up in the convo with those top 2.

He is better than Kidd and I think it's by a longshot.

I agree on him being listed that high when it's all said and done, he will rest somewhere in the top 5 ever at the position.

I know. The Jazz might as well be BYU football. The big talent will never come.

Unless he starts winning a bunch if rings he won't.

Rarified air when talking about Magic Johnson. I don't think he'll get close to that.
