| He was not going to play for Van Gundy anymore even if he was healthy. |

| Yay! Now the only team left on the Grizz's schedule with a winning record doesn't look so tough. We may win out and snatch that 4 seed. |

| Dwight Howard missing would not be a valid excuse for us not winning the Olympics. |

All we need to do is pick the correct personnel. The Dream Team was full of legitimate superstars that were efficient shooters, and high scorers. The years we didn't win the rosters were riddled with guys like Iverson and Marbury who score a lot, but need to shoot a lot in order to score. |

Apparently the source was a news station that's really unreliable. They've made a bunch of claims about players being traded and then come to find out, they weren't.
Also, if he was healthy and refused to play in the playoffs, he would be in breach of contract. That wouldn't end well for him. And what about the teammates he'd have to come back and play with next season? If he abandoned them in the playoffs, I find it hard to believe they'd want to play with him next season after he screwed them over. |

TIA |

| Agree here. I think that was ESPN doing their best to create a story. |

That was 4 years ago. Kobe's decline really didn't start until the last 2.5 years. I'd rather him not be on the 2012 team. |

He had the second lowest TS% on the team (Michael Redd), to give some perspective. |
