Kevin Love

Slim Charles Barkley just said he's the best PF in the NBA on PTI. I guess I'm not the only "crazy" person.

Charles Barkley must have been smoking crack. I'd say the roster around him is better than the trash Chris Bosh was leading to the playoffs with the Raptors. It seems to be a struggle for Love to keep his team out of last place. Being the best player with that record is liking being being the 4th best player on a team that isn't the the worst in the NBA. I'd take him but go down the list of best players position by position in the NBA and I assure you they aren't finishing 18-64 or whatever is the Wolves finished last year. If he's the best PF in the NBA then he has problems. Guess I'd rather have all the no name players the Pacers are fielding over Love, Beasley, Williams, Johnson, Rubio etc. A team full of lottery picks and the best PF in the NBA is still apparently one of the worst teams in the NBA. Nice

That's an absurd statement considering the Raptors won 22 games without Bosh and Minnesota won 17 games with Love. The only way for your statement to be accurate is if Love were a terrible player dragging his team down, and I don't think you believe that.

Since you like stats especially +/-

Kevin Love currently has the worst in the game at -11 for the Wolves. He has the best stats but the Griz have fared best against him as far as winning the game goes. Williams and Tolliver have the best at +9 and +12. I don't know why but Kevin Love just doesn't seem to be a winner or a leader. He could probably average 80/30 and he'd still lose.

I don't have the +/- in front of me..but I'm gonna guess Williams and tolliver have such good numbers because they were on the floor when the run was made against our bench... Apples to oranges.

I like good stats, and +/- is not very telling because it's largely affected by the other 4 guys on the court with you. Mario Chalmers is 4th best in the league in +/-. Andre Miller is 2nd. Spencer Hawes is top 10.

Kevin Love is 4th in the league in PER for what it's worth. Despite it being early in the season and such a small sample size, that is still saying something.

Though I like that it supports my argument, PER is kind of a joke. As long as you shoot 33%, the more you score the higher your PER is. A guy shooting 35% is hurting his team, and the stat encourages that idiot to shoot more. Pretty backwards.

I think Griffin will be the best, but Love was last year (and so far this year).
