This is an objective ranking system. It's all based on a statistical formula measuring player productivity in terms of wins. Pau was #7 on this list (Marc #88).

So it's not saying Andre Miller is better than Dirk, it's just saying he was more productive last year, during the regular season.

ESPN's top 10 is coming up. I think Blake Griffin is top 10.

As he should be. Anybody who gets 13 rpg should be a top 10 player.

Any best player list, trying to ascribe wins to a player's output, that has Kevin Love on top, should be summarily burned and forgotten.

Stat me all you want, but nobody is clamoring to build any sort of winning team around Kevin Love, period.

All time? No. League-wide in his prime? Yes.

16 rpg from one player is like playing 6 on 5. If your other players can just rebound a little bit you will dominate ball possession.

The Bulls added Rodman to a team that lost in the Eastern Semi-Finals and they won 70 games, and smoked everybody in the playoffs (16-3).

Nice analysis. Must be why Chamberlain's teams killed everyone.

I don't know how old you might be, but if you watched, he wasn't one of the top 4 or 5 players on his title teams, much less in the league.

Not saying I have the most trained eye myself, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't watch. Spreadsheets can't lie.

I watched him. I'm 29. I was 14 the year they won 70 games.

It takes a team to win titles. MJ, Magic, Kareem, and everybody else who gets credit for winning titles only won titles when they had the right team around them. If the best player is good enough to win despite their team, than MJ should have like 10 titles. Jordan's teams that won titles were great on the boards.

Offensive and defensive rebound % rankings, respectively:
1991 - 5th and 9th
1992 - 5th and 4th
1993 - 1st and 11th
1996 - 1st and 8th
1997 - 2nd and 13th
1998 - 2nd and 7th

Not really. He's a scorer but not much else.

Agree that he is mainly a scorer but I thought he'd be in the top 3 or 4 of this list.

Agree. But the tweet saying that this might be the lowest he is ranked in the next 10 years could be correct.
